My name is Carlos De La Cruz
I was born in 1965, dropped out of high school two weeks into my senior year, and aside from a few continuing education courses on the weekends, I never went to college.
My Mother was compassionate and my Father was demanding, and together, they instilled enough sense in me to realize, how important it was to learn how to read, write and speak English (so as to know where I was going and to be able to communicate) and how to do math (so to be able to count my own $change$).
I was fortunate enough to meet and associate with Good People who had ‘been-through-it’.
Meaning, Good People who not only had experience in living a good life, but had also achieved success in their own chosen professions.
These Good People, after they were convinced I was eager to learn, were more than willing to share their knowledge and wisdom with me.
Using the sage advice these select mentors most graciously offered, I have been able to make a few good moves throughout my life, and today, I am happy to say, that I am in a good place.
I could stop working right now, find a place in the country, and I would be able to live a fairly comfortable life, however, I know myself well enough to know that such a decision would not fulfill me.
I realize, that because of my willingness to seek out wise mentors, my life has turned out for the better, and all I want to do now, is to share as much of what I have learned with as many people who are willing to receive it.
Nothing in life is as easy as ‘1-2-3’ or ‘A-B-C’. Life is way more complicated than that.
It is up to YOU, as an individual, to seek out the knowledge necessary to do whatever it is you want to do with your life and to develop the wisdom to put all the pieces together.
NO-ONE-PERSON can tell you how to live your life and then your life will be great. YOU, as an individual, are the only one that can make your life as prosperous as you want it to be.
Your Creator has given you a brain and has endowed you with the FREE-WILL to use it, or not, and if you are fortunate enough to live in America, you have the right to exercise your FREE-Will, for better or for worse.
A long time ago, a wise man gave me a solid piece of advice, and everyday, I apply this profound advice to everything that I do.
If you are interested in affording yourself the ability to begin empowering yourself, I now offer the same advice to you, and it is this…
Always work towards raising your standards
All The Best!
